Brother killed, wife hurt in a family feud

Elder brother was brutally chopped to death and his wife critically injured in a family feud at Payeen-dong, Fatikchhari yesterday.Four brothers were engaged in a quarrel over land at around 3.30pm. Their altercation continued for over an hour before two younger brothers, Khorshed and Ershad, allegedly started beating up and stabbing Korban Ali, 35, who died on the spot. They attacked Rawshan Akter, 30, and injured her seriously when she came to her husband's rescue. Rawshanwas later admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
