Judge Mohammad Abdus Samad will try this case filed with Sonadanga thana with slain AL leader's son SM Arifur Rahman Mithu as complainant. Rob was gunned down on August 11 in 2000 in front of his residence at Sonadanga.

Six, out of 15 FIR named accused, are on bail. They are listed criminals Sumon, Main, ward commissioner Golam Maula Shanu and Moin. Three others are Motaleb, Shaheen and Humayun. Four accused are still absconding. They are Wasiqur Rahman, Sumon-2, Dolly and PBCP outlaw Tapan. Five accused now in Jail are Mushfiqur Rahman, criminal Rafiqul Islam Hitler, Saeed, Titu and Rangulal.
