He was taken on remand for interrogation in journalist Dip Azad bomb attack case.

A six-member interrogation committee comprising senior officials of Khulna Metropolitan Police grilled Mofazzel, but he denied his involvement in the bomb attack on Dip Azad, a correspondent of the daily Jugantor.

Mofazzel broke down during the grilling on Wednesday while repeating his accusation against Khulna Range DIG and Khulna police super that they made him a victim of conspiracy by not allowing him to join the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) four months ago, said a member of the interrogation committee.

Mofazzel also mentioned the names of several police officials having link with the underground parties, sources said.
