Murali relishing the challenge

After a none-too-impressive performance in the one-dayers, Sri Lankan spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan is keen to prove himself in the Test series against India beginning here on Friday.The off-spinner said India were a "formidable" side and it would be a challenge to bowl to the Indian batsmen. "It is a big challenge for me and I have to prove myself against a formidable side like India," said the bowler who has 563 wickets from 95 Tests at an average of 22.15. Muralitharan said he was raring to have a go at the Chennai ground although he had never played at this venue.
