Heroin worth Tk 2 crore seized in Joypurhat

BDR members seized 2.50 kg heroin worth over Tk 2 crore from a bus at Pikortoli on Mongolbari-Joypurhat road yesterday.BDR sources said acting on a secret information they searched a Joypurhat bound bus from Mongolbari at noon and recovered the heroin from an abandoned sack. None was arrested in this connection. It is apprehended smugglers brought the heroin from India and was taking it to Dhaka by bus.
