The present CTG has taken up the gigantic task of nabbing corrupt government officials. It has already nabbed some forest department officials. We expect it will set hands on other departments like customs, income tax, police, courts, revenue office, municipality office, education office, electricity, telephone, gas and many others. Our nation is completely inundated in corruption. Even our intellectuals and religious leaders whom we respect are not fully clean.In fact, corruption is now our accepted culture. A rich man in a locality who acquired wealth through bribe or illegal means, has posh cars and high-rise buildings, is invited as chief guest of any social function, or opening ceremony in his locality. He is a highly respected man! I know this government will not have sufficient time to nab and punish all, but it will at least be able to identify most of the big ones and publish their names. This will help others get a clear picture of what is happening in society.
