PM leaves for Abu Dhabi today
After concluding a three-day visit, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was scheduled to leave Germany for the UAE early today to attend the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX-2019).
An Etihad Airways flight carrying the PM and her entourage was scheduled to depart Munich International Airport at 2:40am on Sunday (9:40pm on Saturday, Munich time)
The flight was scheduled to reach Abu Dhabi International Airport at 8:45am (6:45am, Abu Dhabi time)
Bangladesh Ambassador to the UAE Mohammad Imran will receive the PM at the airport.
During the visit, Sheikh Hasina will attend the opening session of the IDEX-2019 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) today.
The PM is likely to meet Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and hold bilateral talks with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister of the UAE. She will have meetings with other leaders.
Hasina will have an audience with Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Al Ketbi, Wife of Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founder and the Inaugural President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi at Al Bahar Palace.
The PM will join a community event at St Regis Abu Dhabi Hotel where she will stay during the visit.
She will return home in the morning on February 20.
