EDU hosts “Train the Trainers” Andragogy Practicum workshop
East Delta University (EDU) hosted "Train the Trainers" workshop on "Andragogy Practicum" on August 19.
The workshop was orchestrated by Professor (in Practice) A. Qaiyum Chowdhury from EDU's School of Business Administration. Prof. Chowdhury, an internationally acclaimed mentor, is renowned for orchestrating, conducting, and participating in an array of training programs, workshops, and seminars spanning both national and international realms.
Diverging from the conventional 'Pedagogy' method, Prof. Chowdhury championed the innovative 'Andragogy' approach, fostering an interactive learning process that fuels deeper comprehension and real-world application. In his words, "This distinctive andragogy methodology not only imparts profound subject knowledge, but also uncovers its intrinsic significance. Learners acquire the acumen to proficiently apply their learning in personal and real-life contexts, nurturing resilience, values, and self-assuredness."
The presence of EDU VC Prof. Muhammad Sekandar Khan added an extra layer of significance to the workshop.
