Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) has achieved the joint-top spot among private universities in Bangladesh in the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2025. IUB is placed in the 401-500 bracket globally and ranked fifth among all public and private universities in the country.
The Universal College Bangladesh (UCB) recently hosted an orientation session for the newly launched University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) programme. With this, UCB now offers several full UK honours degrees, which can be completed in three years in Bangladesh. Students with HSC, IB, or A2 Levels are eligible to join the UCLan Business and Marketing degree. Admission is open for the next 10 days.
BRAC University celebrated World Children’s Day with a vibrant and engaging event at its Merul Badda campus, embracing this year’s global theme, “Listen to the Future”. Hundreds of students and parents are expected to participate at the second edition of the Bangladesh Education Forum 2023 that will be held at the Crowne Plaza, Deira, Dubai from October 14-15. It is the only international education roadshow for 163 Bangladeshi universities and 115 medical colleges where more than 14,000 foreign students and 4.6 million Bangladeshi students study in under-graduate and graduate programs.
