Youth’s body found on Kuril rail tracks

A youth’s body was found on the rail tracks of Kuril in Dhaka city this morning.

The deceased was primarily identified as Rohan Hossain Billal, 22, from Bhola and a private car driver in Nikunja, family sources said.

Yeasin Faruk, officer-in-charge of Dhaka Government Railway Police Station, told The Daily Star the body was found on the tracks around 5:00am.

The deceased’s brother Akbar Hossain told The Daily Star they learned of the death early this morning.

According to the brother, Rohan’s mobile phone and money were missing.
