MBBS entry test repeaters to be fined 5 marks
Second time admission seekers in government and private medical and dental colleges will be fined five marks, the health ministry decided today.
Also, they will be fined 7.5 marks in the final merit list of government colleges, a press release issued by the health ministry after the decision said.
The decision came at a meeting, chaired by Health Minister Mohammad Nasim, on the admission to MBBS and BDS courses at the minister’s secretariat office.
Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) President Dr Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Medical University (BSMMU) Vice-Chancellor Dr Kamrul Hasan Khan and Director General of Health Services Professor Dr Abul Kalam Azad attended the meeting.
