Still there are some programs running on many channels in Bangladesh based on telephone calls. But at that time, the idea of making programs on telephone calls by a producer in Bangladesh Television has been rejected taking it as a joke. The name of the producer was Belal Beg. Everyone used to say that BelalBeg moved forward with emotions and probably due to which he used to get this kind of weird ideas. If Mustafa Monwar was the initiator of children's program in Pakistan Television then obviouslyBelal Beg is the initiator of educative programs.
Belal Beg is a person who searches for variation in his everyday life as well as in television screen. Currently he is in America. Even in there he is trying to figure out a new way on how to teach Bangla to Americans.
Now there is a bridge to go to Gulshan from Rampura. It was not in there before which means the Dhaka city stops till the Rampura Television Bhaban. Many people used to go to that split bridge for walking. A local folk singer (in Bengali “Bayati”) was singing with a Dotara sitting on a go-cart upon the bridge. Hearing his song Belal Beg brought him in front of the camera. The name of the Bayati was AbdurRahmanBayati.
Belal Beg was a producer who promoted an unknown artist to the International success. While this Belal Beg proposed to the technical department of the television to make telephone based program the technical team gave his idea proper importance as well as became so worried.

At that time there was no mobile phone domination like today. Not even any gorgeous cellphones were there. The only thing used to exist was T&T set. The engineers started asking Belal Beg how the anchor will hear the questions of the questioners, even how the audiences will hear the questions of the questioners since there was no loud speaker at in the telephone set. There was no way to connect an earphone to the telephone set to give the anchor. But Belal Beg was an enthusiast to make this happened. It took some days to think about. Then it has been decide that Muhammad Jahangir will be the anchor. Jahangir was the famous young journalist at that time. He worked atDainik Bangla. Besides that he started to gain image of anchoring television programs. He started his career with anchoring a program based on books which was produced by Ali Imam. Later on he has hosted many programs except funny programs. Even after many days he has proven that he is a unique in this kind of programs by anchoring “Teleshomoy” on Channel i.
The program that had been planned on telephone based in which the audience can participate, Belal Beg and Muhammad Jahangir had decided many things keeping the difficulties of the telephone.
