A case was filed today (August 11, 2022) accusing 46 policemen over the death of Bhola Chhatra Dal president Noor-e-Alam in a clash with police during a BNP programme.
Noor-e-Alam, president of Bhola district unit of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) -- the BNP-backed student wing -- died while undergoing treatment at Comfort Hospital in Dhaka.
A man was killed and at least 40 were injured during a clash between BNP men and police in Bhola Sadar upazila this afternoon.
