Riding on an unbeaten 52 from skipper Dimuth Karunaratne and 29 from Kusal Perera, Sri Lanka managed to post 136 all out in a World Cup match against New Zealand yesterday. Just when the pair were eyeing a big partnership, Kiwi pacer Matt Henry struck. Perera tried to play across the line and the ball soared upward after hitting the outside of his bat and Colin de Grandhomme duly took a smart catch at mid-off. It was indeed a happy moment for New Zealand as Sri Lanka’s batting order collapsed after that.
