Former Irish cricketer, Niall O'Brien was seen having a light moment with Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza during the captain's photo-shoot in a video tweet by ICC. The ICC Digital Insider met the captains of all the World Cup participating teams in the greenroom where the Irishman Niall shared a laugh with everyone.
Niall greeted the Indian captain Virat Kohli before moving on to the Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza. He asked Mashrafe about his fitness and the injuries of the squad.
"[Are you fit] Fit?" asked O'Biren.
"Yeah" replied Mashrafe.
O'Brien asked again, "And the boys?"
"They are well" said the Bangladesh captain.
When asked to show Mash's fitness, the captain and the Irishman both laughed as Mashrafe replied, "I don't want to show off my family pack."

With the most prestigious trophy up for grabs, the captains from the ten nations remain focused and somewhat nervous. O'Brien made casual and fun conversations with all the captains. As he entered the room, he greeted England skipper Eoin Morgan before meeting Afghan captain Asghar Afghan. Asghar joked with the Irishman calling him an "oldie", to which they both shared a laugh.
Niall asked the Afghan, "What is it for you to lead the boys at the World Cup? A dream come true?"
"Definitely, a dream come true" replied the proud Afghan captain.
Next, Niall went to the Pakistan Captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed, and reminded him about their T20 World Cup win right here in England on 2009.
"Last time Pakistan was here in the World Cup in 2009, lifting the trophy" said O'Brien with a suppressed smile.
To which Sarfaraz refuted, "We lost in 1999 here as well."
"Well we don't want to mention that, I didn't want to say that." replied the Irishman as they both burst out in laughter.
As the captains walked away after the shoot, O'Brien was excited seeing the bests of the game together.
"Look here, the legends, the legends. They are in UK. They are going to do their thing for six weeks. Unbelievable. The best in the world are here to show you what they can do. Bat, ball in the field. Enjoy. Get yourself in a game and enjoy these lads" said an ecstatic O'Brien.
