On his return to the side in place of the experienced Shoaib Malik, Haris Sohail helped Pakistan post a challenging 308 for seven in fifty overs against South Africa yesterday. The left-hander kept the tempo of the innings ever since he arrived at the crease coming into bat at number five and scored a blistering 59-ball 89 laced with nine fours and three sixes. It was Sohail who made sure that the total crossed the 300-run mark as Pakistan added 91 runs in the last ten overs before the thirty-year-old was eventually dismissed in the last over.
