Virat Kohli has notched yet another record as he became the fastest batsman to reach the landmark of eleven thousand ODI runs and in the process assailing compatriot Sachin Tendulkar's record.
Kohli struck a fifty during today’s match against Pakistan and reached the personal landmark with a boundary off Hasan Ali. The Indian captain broke the record of compatriot and batting great Sachin, who had reached the milestone in 276 innings. Kohli, averaging at 59.47 in ODIs notched the record in just 222 innings.
The India maestro has 41 ODI tons and fifty 50s.
