Ciao Dhaka — Italian fest at Amari
The beginning of November marks the launch of an Italian Food Fest at Amari Dhaka. Conveniently located at the heart of Gulshan 2, Amari Dhaka has been a food lover's paradise thanks to its mouthwatering Indian, Thai, Japanese and Chinese dishes. Emphasising authenticity, their goal has always been to serve delicious cuisine— one that would keep their guests coming for more.
Amari will now be serving a variety of rustic Italian dishes to cater to food-enthusiasts, and this launch is just another step to adhere to that promised standard.
Unlike modern Italian, the rustic style focuses on simple ingredients that blend together perfectly to bring out the homely Mediterranean flavours.
"Italian cuisine is more than just pizzas and pastas. Of course, pizzas and pastas are integral and I love cooking those, but there are plenty of lamb, chicken and vegetarian dishes that are equally exquisite, and we plan to bring just those to the people of Dhaka through the fest," said chef Marco Boscaini.
Chef Boscaini, brought to oversee the whole festival and train other chefs of Amari, is originally from Italy, and his passion for Italian comes from a lifelong passion and rustic family traditions.
Featuring various types of starters, main courses and desserts, the guests at Amari are surely in for a treat. From delicious breads served with various basil and olive pickles, smoked salmon capers to mouthwatering lasagne and grilled tuna salad, there is always something to cater to your needs. In fact, there is a massive line of desserts that includes sweet sfogliatella, budino chocolate, and panna cotta for those with a sweet-tooth.
The buffet is priced at Tk 3999++. For reservations, call +88-0187 842 2222. Amari is located at 47, Road 41, Gulshan 2, Dhaka.
