Man held for raping teen in Savar

Police arrested a man early yesterday on charge of raping a tenth-grader in Savar.
The arrestee -- Md Rakibul Kabir Shipon, 31, used to tutor the girl.

According to the case statement, Rakibul raped the girl on June 13 and threatened her to keep the matter secret. After her family learnt about the matter, they reported the incident to police.
OC Dipok Chandra Saha of Savar Model Police Station, said they arrested Rakibul early yesterday.
The girl was sent to the one-stop crisis centre of DMCH.
