Thousands start leaving Dhaka by train to celebrate Eid

Thousands of people started to leave Dhaka by trains today to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr in their village homes.
Most of the trains left Kamalapur station on time amid tight security and ticket checking.

Eighteen intercity trains left the station so far and two of them were late.
Burimari Express left the station one and a half hour late while Egarosindgu Express left one hour late, Anwar Hossain, Kamalapur Railway Station Master told The Daily Star at 1:00pm.
