US envoy calls on law minister

US Ambassador to Bangladesh John C Holzman called on Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Abdul Matin Khasru at his secretariat chamber yesterday, reports BSS.

They discussed the country's legal system, and protection and promotion of human rights in the country.

Besides various issues of mutual concern, they also discussed the establishment of human rights commission.

Ove Fritz Lasen, minister and deputy head of mission of the Danish Embassy in Dhaka also called on the law minister yesterday. They discussed matters of mutual interests.
