Khaleda has turned crazy for power: PM
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today alleged that BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has become crazy to go to power.
"They (BNP men) want to grab power by carrying out destructive activities and killing people," PM said while addressing a programme at Suhrawardy Udyan organised to mark 41st founding anniversary of Jubo League, youth front of the ruling Awami League.
Hasina, who also heads the AL, urged her political archrival to take part in the January 5 general election and offered any ministry to the main opposition party.
"How many ministries…which ministries do you (Khaleda) want?" she asked, adding: "We are ready to give even the home ministry if you want."
The premier said she had telephoned the opposition leader to solve the current political situation of the country. "But BNP does not want to take part in the election," Hasina alleged.
