Kottan arrives today

George Kottan is scheduled to arrive here this morning to take charge of Abahani for the second successive season and coach the club in the Federation Cup and the Bangladesh Premier League.

The Austrian led Abahani to a fourth-place finish in the premier league last season. The 69-year-old coach had earlier coached Muktijoddha Sangsad in 2003.

Abahani had earlier flown in Drago Mamic during the Independence Cup this year, but the Croat left Bangladesh soon for family reasons.
