The importance of engaging in extra-curricular activities inthis competitive age cannot be stressed enough. However, coming across enough opportunities can get difficult. Keeping this in mind, EzzeTech,in association with the ICT Division, Government of Bangladesh has developed an app for Youth Opportunities, an award-winninginternational opportunity discovery platform for students that started its journey in Bangladesh.

The UI of the app is very clean and user-friendly. The app avoids showing cluttered login screens and jumps right into action. Upon opening the app, variousstudent competitions, internships, workshops, etc. are shown in a list that can be sorted in three ways – Latest, Trending and Approach (entries with nearing deadlines). Users can choose to view entries of a particular category by tapping on the menu icon at the top-left corner. Users can also filter the entries based on their geographic location using the globe icon at the bottom-right corner.

Clicking on any of the entries reveals more details and relevant information. The financial information (self-funded/fully funded/paid) and the location are shown at the top of the screen. The rest of the information can be found below followed by links to the official website. The entries can be bookmarked using the icon at the top right. At the bottom, there is a panel that lets you share the entries with your friends.

As a business student who is passionate about student competitions, I can definitely see myself using the app on a regular basis after some minor performance improvements are made.
