England's Harry Kane rocketed to the top of the 2018 World Cup goalscoring charts on Sunday, netting a hat-trick against Panama to overtake Cristiano Ronaldo and Romelu Lukaku.
Kane, who netted twice in the first half against Panama to equal Ronaldo and Lukaku, then overtook the Portugal and Belgium star with a lucky third, deflecting a Ruben Loftus-Cheek shot into the net.
There have been some outstanding goals in the World Cup already with Toni Kroos’s missile at the death keeping Germany alive in the tournament. However, when it comes to open play goals, Lukaku has been the king as all his four goals have come from open play.
Portugal's Ronaldo and Belgium's Lukaku have four goals apiece.
