Jatiya Oikyafront leader and Nagorik Oikya Convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna yesterday said they will not leave the election field under any circumstance.

“We're considering the 11th parliamentary election as a battle. We'll remain in the 'election battle' till the end,” Manna said at a press conference at Jatiya Press Club in Dhaka.

The press briefing was organised to inform on the present situation.

In his speech, Manna said a participatory election is going to take place in the country after 10 long years but there is grave concern regarding the credibility of the election.

He also said confusion over holding a free and credible election is becoming deeper due to the behaviour of the government and the election commission.
