Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will keep her promise of job for every family if re-elected to power.
"Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina translates her words into action. She never breaks promises," he said during election campaign in his constituency, Noakhali-5, today.
Job creation facilities for the youth has been given importance in the Awami League election manifesto, Quader said. “At least one member of every family will get a job.”
He said no one will remain homeless and no house without electricity after 2021.
Turning to his rival from BNP, Barrister Moudud Ahmed in the forthcoming parliamentary elections billed for December 30, the ruling party leader said people believe in work.
"They want development and work. Tears or weeping can never bag votes," he said.
He also claimed that Moudud never did any development work in the area although he remained in power for 22 years.
"He couldn't give electricity connection to a single house. They only gave poles of Tarique Rahman and fraudulence. The days of fraudulence are now over."
