Despite a brilliant start from Australia with the bat Sri Lanka managed to bounce back courtesy of some brilliant fielding and left-arm seamer Isuru Udana led from the front. The pacer was instrumental in two run-outs off his own bowling and the one of Aussie wicketkeeper -batsman Alex Carey was a treat to watch. Off the first ball of the 49th over, Glenn Maxwell struck a ball towards mid-on but the bowler dived full length, stopped the ball with one hand, took position and threw a direct hit at the non-strikers end to dismiss Carey. That brilliant fielding display was indeed the happy moment of the day. Losing wickets in the last stages saw Australia add just 14 runs in the last two overs.
