A cultural exchange programme between Bangladesh and Nepal held in Manikganj
An education delegation team from Nepal visited Manikganj SK Government Girls High School in the district town, recently. The delegation team was comprised of 26 members, including Ranjan Yadav, Second Secretary, Embassy of Nepal in Dhaka, Bhoj Raj Khatiwoda, Chief Administrative Officer and Baudha Raj Niraula, Undersecretary, Shankharapur Municipality of Bagmati, Nepal, along with three other officials and head teachers from 21 one secondary schools of the municipality.
The day began with the delegates visiting Manikganj Government High School where the Head teacher of the school Kamrun Nahar received them with flowers.
Representatives of the Nepali team, led by Man Bahadur Tamang, Head Teacher of Shree Sarada Secondary School, performed after the event. Assistant teacher Mahidur Rahman of the SK Girls High School presented Lalon song and was accompanied by a dance routine by the students.
The team also visited Manikganj Municipality and participated in a discussion with its mayor Gazi Kamrul Huda Selim.
