Adani supplies power to national grid on trial basis

Adani Power has started power supply on an experimental basis to the national grid this evening.

Power Grid Company of Bangladesh spokesperson ABM Badruddoza Khan told The Daily Star that they are getting around 50MW of electricity from 7:38pm tonight.

"Power synchronisation has been completed. Now the power plant will supply electricity to the national grid until the commercial operation starts," he said.
