How TikTok was used to traffic Bangladeshi girls to India
Dhaka Metropolitan Police, on May 29, announced that they have found a transnational racket including a number of Bangladeshi members, who were involved in trafficking Bangladeshi girls to India. The racket used the Tiktok app to target and lure young girls, many of whom are underaged, and forced them to become sex workers.
