Daughter of patrons Sarah and Ali Zaker, beautiful green-eyed Sriya Sharbojoya paved her own path into the industry. Not only does she have her own radio station- Radio Shadhin, she has recently entered the world of theatre and television. She has been a part of some great productions that immediately put her into the limelight, like drama serials Pinjor and Five Female Friends. Her telefilm Ekjon Rupban er Golpo, where she portrayed a fantastic character, was the icing on a fabulous start to her career. Here are some fun-facts about Sriya.

What are three of your most prized possessions? 
My passport (I want to always have the option to fly off), my phone (for very practical and not so practical (facebook) purposes) and my car.

If you had a chance to play a role in any movie from the past, which character and movie would it be? 
There are many but one that comes to mind often is Vidya Bagchi enacted by Vidya Balan from the movie Kahani. Absolutely love the movie and the role! 

What is your favourite midnight snack?
Popcorn, dark chocolate, Doritos. Oatmeal with ground cinnamon and almonds for when I want to eat healthy.

What are your top three favourite books? 
A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry, Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom, Calcutta Chromosome by Amitav Ghosh.
What message would you give to young aspiring actors?
Be passionate about your art, work hard. Watch, truly perceive and absorb. Watch actors, movies, theatre productions, children, oddballs, and everything else. An aspiring will always find something to learn from. Be honest with your work and most importantly, with yourself. And try and do some theatre work!

Who is your biggest inspiration?

My parents.

What would you do with a million dollars?
Charity, travel, investment, and a Master's degree from a brilliant school on a subject I love (theatre and filmmaking)!
