The Hands of Fate

People say, "Your fate is in your own hands; work hard and you can get whatever you want." However, in reality, things are different. Sometimes we cannot change our fate. For some of us the fate seems inevitable; written in the scars of our bodies that we cannot erase. It is the story of the deprived who cannot overcome their fate. Between them and us there is a partition, a glass-ceiling which prevents us from feeling their silent agony. It is the story of their sufferings, the one the feel when the privileged class of our society plays games with their lives and determine their fate.
