Rajshahi University offers 2nd chance for admission

Rajshahi University (RU) today decided to offer the admission exam for the second time in the 2021-22 academic year.

The decision was made at a meeting of the admission test sub-committee today at 11am, reports our RU correspondent quoting Tareq Nur, RU's student adviser.

He said that the decision was made to compensate students for their academic losses during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This year, admission tests of four units will be held. Per unit, 72,000 students will be able to take the exam, he said.

According to meeting sources, this year's admission test will begin on July 24 and end on July 27. The initial application period for the admission test will take place between May 25 and June 9.  

Following that, the final application period for the selected candidates for the examination will run from June 15 to June 28.

The admission test has been allowed for the second time only for this session, said Professor Pradeep Kumar Pandey, administrator of the university's public relations department.
