In Search of Justice

The events that take place after the murder of a journalist in this country seem to be following a set pattern. A journalist gets killed; government officials state that the killer will be arrested within a short period of time; journalist unions protest the killing; the police submit a weak chargesheet after a lengthy process, which may go on for more than a decade; and the accused are mostly acquitted.
