Gems of Nazrul organise tribute show on Victory Day

Gems of Nazrul has organised a special musical production to pay tribute to Bangladesh's 51st Victory Day. The programme will be broadcasted on Channel i, at one-minute past midnight, on December 16.

The 24th production by Gems of Nazrul will feature artistes performing the iconic marching song "Chol Chol." The vocals will be performed by leading Nazrul exponents and a younger generation of artistes. The video will be available on the official YouTube channel of Gems of Nazrul and their associated social media pages.

Conceptualised by noted Nazrul singer and the convenor of Gems of Nazrul, Sadya Afreen Mallick, the production's music will be directed by Durbadol Chatterjee, while Barovoot Ltd. will oversee the video production.

The performance will pay tribute to the leadership and sacrifice that culminated during the country's fight for independence.
