Dhaka, Chattogram stocks rise

The Dhaka and Chattogram bourses rose in the morning session today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained 9 points, or 0.15 per cent, to 6,344 at 11:34 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 223 crore.

Of the securities, 112 advanced, 71 declined and 169 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, added 23 points, or 0.12 per cent, to 18,750.

Of the issues, 58 rose, 28 retreated, and 62 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 10.6 crore at 11:35 am.
