Dhaka stocks rise for fifth day

Shares on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) continue to rise for the fifth consecutive trading day today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, rose 21 points, or 0.32 per cent, to 6,429 at 12:10 pm. Turnover stood at Tk 1,014 crore.

Of the securities, 190 advanced, 110 declined and 83 did not show any price movement.
