DSE, CSE up in morning trade

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose in the morning trade today, the first trading day after the proposed budget was announced on Thursday.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, gained 8 points, or 0.12 per cent, to 6,363 at 10:38 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 415 crore.

Of the securities, 97 advanced, 66 declined and 119 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, added 21 points, or 0.11 per cent, to 18,777.

Of the issues, 33 rose, 14 retreated, and 22 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 1.2 crore at 10:40 am.­­­­­­­­­­­­­
