Best intermediaries of Bangladesh's stock market awarded

BSEC awards nine stakeholders in three categories

Nine stakeholders of the stock market won best intermediaries award from the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) for their contribution in the market.

In the stock broker and dealer category, EBL Securities got the first prize while Shahjalal Islami Bank Securities and Islami Bank Securities won the second prize jointly.

Eminent Securities and Sheltech Brokerage Limited won the third prize jointly.

In the merchant bank category, Green Delta Capital won the first prize and AAA Finance & Investments got second prize.

Capitec Asset Management won first prize in the asset management category, while LankaBangla Asset Management got the second prize in the same category.

The BSEC handed over the prizes in an event yesterday night in the capital's Bangabandhu International Conference Centre.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and BSEC Chairman Professor Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam handed over the prizes to the high officials of the winning companies.

In the same event, BSEC also awarded one of its executive director, ATM Tariquzzaman, and two other officials named Biplab Kumar and Sabuj Mia for their honesty and integrity.
