Govt to buy 2.75cr litres of Soybean oil from local suppliers

The government will buy 2.75 crore litres of Soybean oil from local suppliers for Tk 184-186 per litre.

The decision came at a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Public Purchase today, according to officials.

The meeting also approved the import of 30,000 tonnes of urea fertiliser from the UAE.

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal presided over the virtual meeting.
