XiaomiMi Max 2
Xiaomi has gained quite the fan-following in Bangladesh, and for good reason. Their phones offer excellent bang-for-buck, and the Mi Max 2 is no exception. Made purely for media consumption, the Mi Max 2 is an amazing phone with a massive battery that is sure to provide endurance and performance whenever it needs to. The Snapdragon 625 offers adequate performance but promises endurance paired with a mammoth 5300mAh battery.
Vivo V9
Vivo has been around for a while, but aggressive marketing strategy has finally put them in the limelight. Their main strategy till now has been to improve their camera module as much as possible, perfecting the "selfie" camera, and offer balance in everything else. For people loving their selfies, the Vivo V9 is a compelling buy, but the Snapdragon 626 is the main disadvantage of this phone.
XiaomiMi Note 3
Some may confuse this phone with the Redmi series of phones, but the Mi Note series is all about premium build and amazing performance. The Mi Note 3 is no exception. Previously, the Mi Note series was a flagship, but the Mi Note 3 came out as a sibling of the Xiaomi Mi6, the current flagship of Xiaomi. With the exception of a larger screen, larger battery and a Snapdragon 660 instead of the 835 found in the Mi6, the devices are basically the same. And that is great news for a mid-ranger, because the dual rear camera scored 90 in DxOmark, a camera testing publication; which pits the phone against the iPhone 7 Plus and LG V30.
Huawei Nova 3e
The Huawei Nova 3e, also known as the Huawei P20 lite, follows Huawei's new design language for their flagship phones. The design is flashy and eye-catching, and the camera is great as well. The notched screen is great and comes with an above-average display. Battery life is enough for a day of use. Sadly, however, Huawei's HiSilicon Kirin 659 offers no upgrade in performance from yesteryear's Nova 2i.
Motorola G5s Plus
The Motorola G5s Plus comes with Motorola's excellent reputation with their devices. The G5s Plus holds its reputation from Motorola's Droid phones, offering sturdy build quality with a pleasant UI. Ideally, 4GB of RAM paired with the Snapdragon 625 SoC is great, and a near-stock android experience makes it even better. The camera is excellent as well, so is the battery life. It's an excellent phone that excels in almost all categories as a mid-ranger. The only problem that G5s Plus has is questionable quality control.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo
For brand purists and Samsung fans, the Galaxy J7 duo is an interesting phone. The Super AMOLED screen is superb, and the Exynos 7885 OctaSoC gets the job done quite easily when paired with Samsung's very own TouchWiz. The 720p resolution might be a con for some, but the screen helps with battery life.
