City polls: Annisul promises clean and green Dhaka

Awami League-backed mayoral candidate for Dhaka North City Corporation elections Annisul Huq today announced his manifesto promising to make Dhaka city clean and green.

He titled his manifesto “Somoshya chinhito, ebar shomadhan jatra (the problems are identified; now the journey to solve those begins).”

He showed his manifesto in a power point presentation at his office at the Lotus Kamal Tower in Dhaka in the afternoon.

Annisul, who got ‘table clock’ as polls-sign, announced his manifesto five days after he started his campaign for the elections scheduled for April 28.
