2 held with AK-22 rifle in Dhaka

Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) Unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has detained two persons with an AK-22 rifle from Sayedabad area of Dhaka.

The detainees were identified as Md Kamal Hosen, 35, and Md Saidul Islam Majumder alias Rubel, 30, DMP sources said.

Acting on a tip-off, Arms Enforcement Team of Special Action Group of the unit conducted a drive near Wonder Lank Park in Sayedabad around 7:40pm yesterday and detained the duo.

They also seized a total of 30 rounds of bullets from the duo.
