BCL torture crossed all limits: BNP

The country’s educational atmosphere is being ruined as Bangladesh Chhatra League is “committing barbarous acts” at educational institutions, alleged leaders of Chattogram BNP yesterday.

Leaders of its new south district unit committee were addressing a meeting with journalists at Chattogram Press Club.

Abu Sufian, convener of the committee, said students cannot stay on the campuses peacefully. Leaders and activists of the pro-Awami League student organisation are persecuting those who have differing views.

About murder of Buet student Abrar Fahad, he said torture of BCL activists has exceeded all limits.

Jafrul Islam Chowdhury, former president of the unit, was present at the event among others.
