Now, stickers of professionals banned in Ctg

After Dhaka, police authority in Chittagong city today imposed a ban on use of stickers, identifying various professionals, on cars.

These would be the stickers put on cars identifying doctors, journalists, police, lawyer and various other professionals.

Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) Commissioner Iqbal Bahar, in a press conference held at his office, made the announcement and urged the city dwellers to follow the directive.

“We will take legal action if anyone violates the directives,” the CMP commissioner warned.

No vehicle is allowed to use hydraulic horn, hooter or beacon light on their vehicles except police, fire service and ambulance, he added.

Nontransparent glass of microbus will not be allowed on the streets but transparent colorful glass will be allowed, he said.

The CMP came up with the decision to smooth enforcement of the traffic law and to bring discipline in the traffic management system for the sake of commuters, the CMP commissioner said.
