20% pass DU ‘Ka’ unit test

Just over 20 percent of the aspirants have passed the admission tests of Dhaka University ‘Ka’ unit, under science faculty, in results published today.

Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique announced the results at Registrar Building around noon, our DU correspondent reports.

A total of 13,380 students passed the tests among the 71,281 aspirants, he said.

The results can be viewed from the Dhaka University website (www.admission.eis.du.ac.bd) or via short message service (SMS) on any mobile operator service.

For obtaining result in mobile, candidates will have to type in “DU_KA _roll number” and send it to 16321.

The “choice form” on the website will have to be filled and submitted during November 10 to 21.

The admission test was held last Friday across 76 centres in Dhaka city. A total of 71,350 candidates filled the test forms for 1,660 seats under the unit this year.
