BSF shoots 2 Bangladeshi cattle traders

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) shot and injured two Bangladeshi cattle traders along Haripur border in Thakurgaon early today. 

Bullet wounded Moinul Haque, 30 and Mobarak, 35, hailed from Monhindra village in the upazila, reports our correspondent quoting the commanding officer of BGB battalion Jamal Hossain. 

The cattle traders entered India through border pillar no 46 to buy cattle when the BSF battalion-22 of Kamar haat camp opened fire leaving them injured, the BGB (Border Guard Bangladesh) official said.

BSF took Mobarak to local Raibazar Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

Moinul managed to return to Bangladesh and was rushed to the Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital. As his condition deteriorated, he was shifted to Rangpur Medical College and Hospital.
