Department of Immigration and Passport (DIP) gets new DG

The government has appointed Major General Md Sohail Hossain Khan as the new director general (DG) of the Department of Immigration and Passport (DIP).

The announcement of the new appointment came in a gazette issued by the Ministry of Public Administration today.

Maj Gen Md Sohail Hossain Khan will be replacing Maj Gen Md Masud Rezwan, former DG of the DIP.

Earlier on January 1, Maj Gen Md Masud Rezwan was reinstated to the Bangladesh Army according to a gazette issued by the public administration ministry.
