Internet disruption likely from Oct 23

Internet users are likely to face disruption in data services for three to four days from October 23 due to maintenance work of the first submarine cable in the Bay of Bengal.

The second submarine cable SEA-ME-WE-5 and ITC operators will remain active in the maintenance area in Bangladesh. 

The maintenance at the first submarine cable SEA-ME-WE-4 will begin on October 23, said a press release of the Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company Limited (BSCCL).
